Mrs. Patricia Dian Metze was born September 21, 1951 in Irmo, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Leroy and Katie Mims. She peacefully gathered with her father and mother on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.

Patricia attended Rosenwald High School and earned a degree in Data Processing. She was employed by the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles, from where she retired after many years of dedicated service. She later worked at Walmart for a short time, before her health declined. Mrs. Metze was a member of the Lexington Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, attending when her health permitted.

Mrs. Metze is lovingly survived by her husband, Mario Metze; four loving children: Carly Brandenburg, Tarsia Watson-Butler, Raymond Metze, and Ricky Metze; six grandchildren: Amber, Colton, Xavier, Austin, Zoey, and Carsyn; two loving brothers, Dwight (Mary) Mims and Wayne (Teresa) Mims; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and dear friends.
