Dear Family,
You have my deepest sympathy for your loss. God will provide you with comfort during this grievous time and he promises a better future. Revelation 21:3,4 God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

Please accept my expression of condolence over your loss. May you draw comfort from the heartwarming promise given in God's Word at John chapter 5 verses 28 and 29, which says :" Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out....."

So sad to hear of the loss of sweet Wanda! I worked with Wanda at The State newspaper for many years, and she was always such a wonderful, sweet person, always with a smile on her face. May God be with her family and loved ones on your loss! She is singing with the choir now, and at peace. May the peace that only our Father in heaven can offer also be with you in the coming days, weeks, months.

Lowell wrote, As life goes on the road grows strange with faces new and near the end; milestones to headstones change and neath everyone a friend. I went to a visitation last night to pay my respects to the family of a schoolmate, Wanda Smith Lawson. Wanda was such a sweet person that the world is going to have a void without her. All the many years I have known her I have seen the same personality from the days of school in Eastover until the last time I saw her alive. Her son is an undertaker and in all my years I have never seen such an outpouring of love from so many different funeral homes as I saws last night in one place They left their egos and logos at the door to help hi in his time of sorrow. The Wanda that I knew was a sweet and kind person in an era where the opposite prevails or is expected. Again death takes life...it can never take the fond memories I have of such a sweet and kind person.

Charles, I have been praying for you since we met and prayed in ICU several weeks ago. May you feel God's arms around you and His peace in knowing your lovely wife is safe in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May He fill your void with all His love and give you comfort in the days ahead. May God bless you for the loving care you gave Wanda.
