Mr. Norman Gunter, Jr. was born on July 8, 1967. He was the oldest child of Mr. Norman Gunter, Sr. and Mrs. Lillie Bell Gunter. He departed this life early Wednesday morning June 14, 2017.

Mr. Gunter was educated in the public schools of Richland County.

He was preceded in death by his nieces, Sherica Serenity Elizabeth Williams and Cali Austin McFadden; uncles, James P. Taylor and James Gunter; grandparents, Mary Gunter, Pete Gunter, and Margaret Taylor Diamond.

He leaves behind to mourn his passing and cherish his memory: two children, Quintae M. Brigman of Beaufort, SC and Sade G. Jennings of Columbia, SC; one grandchild, Zadie R. Thomas of Columbia, SC; his parents, Norman and Lillie Bell Gunter; sisters, Renee P. Bickley and Sherry T. Imerion; two nieces, Shiyreka R. Singleton of West Columbia, SC and Jelisa L. Singleton of Columbia, SC; one nephew, Akielious T. Hilton of West Columbia, SC;; two brothers-in-laws, Anthony Hudson of Lexington, SC and Allen Thompson of Columbia, SC; one son-in-law, Marcus Thomas of Columbia, SC, several great nieces and nephews, and many other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
