Mr. Harold Frederick, son of the late George and Bessie L. Frederick, was born April 28, 1946 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. He departed this life on October 20, 2016, following a brief illness.

He attended the public schools of Orangeburg County. At an early age, Harold accepted Christ as his personal Savior and joined the Gospel Temple Baptist Church, remaining faithful until he moved to New York City. After returning to Columbia, South Carolina, he joined Second Chance Baptist Church. He was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Sylvia Frederick.

Mr. Frederick is survived by a daughter, Antionette E. Vereen; three sisters: Mrs. Myrtis Robinson of the home,, Vera Lucas of Columbia, South Carolina and Loretta Calhoun of Orangeburg, South Carolina; an uncle, Gary Prophet of Springfield, South Carolina, and aunt, Blondell Prophet of Wilmington, Delaware; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
