I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure this must be a difficult time for you and your family. At 1Corithians 15:26, our Heavenly Father express how he feels about death, calling death an enemy that will be destroyed. So until that promise is fullfilled, please find comfort in God's word the Bible as we look forward to the day when we see our loved ones again in the promised resurrection. (John 5:28,29, Revelation 21:3,4 and Acts 24:15)

It also promises that he will wipe away all tears from our eyes and death will be no more (Revelation 21:4).  Please have faith and trust in God that your loved one will be resurrected (John 6:40).
