A beloved son and father, Wade James Miller, Jr. was born on August 20, 1976 to Wade J. Miller, Sr. and Alice Nesbitt Miller in Spartanburg, SC. He peacefully passed away on September 3, 2020 at his residence in Blythewood, SC. He had reached the age of 44 years.
He grew up in Columbia, SC and graduated from Spring Valley High School where he played on the football team. As an adult, James developed his skills as a passionate cook. His love for cooking on the barbeque grill brought family and friends together to laugh, cry and enjoy precious times.
James, affectionately known as “Jamie” loved his family, his motorcycles and his puppies. He had a way of connecting with people to put everyone at ease. Jamie experienced some difficulties in life and health problems but he was ever grateful for God’s redeeming grace and mercy shown to him. He took care of his family and never was afraid to say I am sorry or I need help.
He was a person who enjoyed life, which helped him to have a positive outlook and gave him fortitude when faced with adversity. He enjoyed people and especially those close to him. He loved his parents and children deeply.
He has left a good example of patience in suffering. He was especially thankful for the reassurance God granted to him one morning last September when he heard his name called by a heavenly voice.
He leaves to cherish fond memories in addition to his loving parents, a daughter, Tiara (Marlin) Davis of Spartanburg, SC; a son, Jaden Miller of Columbia, SC; a brother, Mark Teamer, Sr. of Spartanburg, SC; a sister, Wadrecia Miller of Columbia, SC; a niece, Wadrian Miller of Columbia, SC; a nephew, Mark Teamer, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC and a host of other family and friends.
