Vivian Clarisa White was born on September 12, 1957, in Columbia South Carolina, the second eldest of three born to the late Willie and Cleophus Singleton White. She transitioned peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at St. George Healthcare Center in St. George, South Carolina.
Vivian was educated in the public schools of Richland County where she attended C. A. Johnson High School and graduated in 1978 from Eau Claire Adult Night School.
Vivian was employed with Craft-Farrow Hospital and various places until her mental health prevented her from continuing to work.
She joined Temple Zion Baptist Church at an early age where she attended Sunday School and served on the Junior Usher Board.
Her Hobbies included singing, dancing, entertaining, and spending time with family and friends. She knew and loved the Lord and loved to sing and uplift songs to praise His holy name.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandmother, Clara Bethel Darby.
She Leaves to cherish memories two loving sons, Mr. Nickie White and Mr. Benjamin Davis; one caring daughter, Ms. Lakeisha Davis; five grandchildren, Ms. Diamond Smith, Mr. Amari Davis, Mr. Jayquan McCombs, Mr. Benjamin Davis, IV, and Mr. Bryson Hood; her loving brother, Mr. Willie White, Jr.; devoted sister, Mrs. Felicia (Levi) Johnson; one loving and devoted nephew, Mr. Jerry White; all of Columbia, South Carolina; and a host of cousins and other loving relatives and dear friends all of whom will miss her dearly.
