Virginia Wilson

Virginia Wilson was born August 21, 1962, in Columbia, South Carolina.  She was the last child born to the late Johnnie and Janie Dorch Wilson.  She departed this life on Monday, June 6, 2022, in Richland County, South Carolina.  

Virginia was educated in the public schools of Richland County.  During her 11th grade year at A. C. Flora High School, she went to work for the Columbia Housing Authority; and she was still employed there at the time of her untimely departure.

Virginia lived and loved by her own rules.  She enjoyed music, sports and absolutely loved family gatherings. She also understood the value of having the understanding that God is everything and that He does not make any mistakes. So, as she has gone to be with the Father, we are sure that her soul is at Peace. Though she is no longer physically with us, her loving and kind spirit will forever live in the hearts and lives of all who loved and knew her.

Those who will forever cherish her fond and precious memories of Virginia are her four loving and caring sisters, Barbara A. Robinson, Mary E. Parker-Bey, Leola Diane Wilson, and Linda England; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom join the family in sharing the grief caused by her untimely departure.
