Vincent N. Weeks Obituary
On May 14, 1947, Vincent Weeks was born to the late Horace Lee Whitener, Sr. and Rudine Weeks Johnson in Columbia, SC. He entered eternal rest on November 13, 2023, after a brief illness.
Vincent enlisted in the army after graduation from Booker T. Washington in 1966. Upon finishing his service in the army, he became a renowned drywall installer for 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eddie, and Sallie Weeks, as well as his brothers Jack Johnson, Jr., Horace Lee Whitener, Jr., and Ronald Whitener.
Vincent leaves to cherish his memory: his siblings, Bertha Johnson, Angela Johnson, and Lawrence Johnson; special nephew, Dawayne Johnson “his butler”; special niece, Samaya Johnson; special cousins, Harold Lorick, and Gloria Morgan; stepdaughter, Tonetta; grandson, Andre; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones and friends who will greatly miss him.
