Vincent Lamark Strother affectionately known as “Vinny Moe” was born August 9, 1960, in Columbia, South Carolina, the beloved son of Margie Addison Strother and the late James Strother. He departed this earthly life on Monday, December 8, 2025, in Columbia, South Carolina.
Vincent was educated in the public schools of Richland County School District Two and graduated from Richland Northeast High School in the Class of 1979.
Vint was an expert painter and plumber until he injured his leg, however, he never let that stop him. You could always find him wearing a suit and matching hat. He loved to make others laugh, and he loved his children with all his heart. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend, and has left a legacy of love to all those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Parris Strother.
Those who are cherishing fond and precious memories of Vincent are his loving children, Franklin (Amanda) Strother, Denise Strother, Kimberly Strother and Crystal Strother; thirteen (13) grandchildren and three (3) grand grandchildren; his loving mother, Margie Strother; caring brothers, Kenneth Strother and Kevin Strother; his close friend, Leslie; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss him.
