Turhan Edward Fanning

Turhan Edward Fanning was born on October 6, 1975 in Columbia, South Carolina to Rosetta Rice and the late Turhan Dantzler. He departed this earthly journey on April 15,2021.

Turhan was educated in Richland County and was a graduate of Eau-Claire High School Class of 1994. He attended both Fayetteville State University and Midlands Technical College. Turhan was employed at the City of Columbia for 8 years. He then later joined the Palmetto Builder Concrete Knights Redi-Mix Company for 15 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Turhan Dantzler.

Cherishing the many memories of Turhan Fanning are his partner, Tamika Weeks; his children, Te’Lisha and Taj Weeks; his mother, Rosetta Rice; siblings, Torrance Fanning, Neal Rice, Jr, Alvin (Chris-Anna) Rice, Elder Gerald Rice and Darlene (Charles) Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends whom will mis him dearly.
