Trakel Jerome Holmes

Trakel “Tek Pablo” Holmes was born August 10, 1988, in West Columbia, South Carolina, the beloved son of  Stephen C. Holmes and Velvet E. Brown. He entered eternal rest suddenly on Saturday, August 26, 2023, in West Columbia, South Carolina.

Trakel was educated in the public schools of Richland County and attended  Eau Claire High School. He was currently employed at Whit-Ash Furniture as a Warehouse Manager.

Trakel enjoyed rapping, music, and fashion. He touched the lives of many with his caring heart and bright smile. He was a die-heart Philadelphia Eagles fan who didn’t mind letting you know.  He will be missed by all those lives he so lovingly touched.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Trakel is survived by his parents, Stephen (Darlene) Holmes and Velvet E. Brown; children, Talaysia, Trakel, Jr., Taylan (Brittany) Holmes, Audrianna (Andeak) Foster, Triniti, Treasure (Ronay Monroe) Holmes, and Tavion (Jessica Cokely) Holmes; brothers, Stephen M. (Katrina) Holmes, Antoinio (Ariel) Brown, Karl (Tierra Johnson) West, and Trayvon Holmes; sister, Britney (Remon) West; special nieces, Damaia, Ramya, Kennedi, Skylar, and Sa’Meiah; special nephews, Jayden, Jared, Remon, Jr., Josiah, Karlos, Karson (Butta); and a host of uncles, aunts, other loving family members and friends, all of whom will dearly miss him.
