Patricia Ann Geiger, 72, of Irmo, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026. She was born on December 27, 1953, in Columbia, South Carolina, to the late John Reaves and Betty Lee Geiger.
Affectionately known as “Tedie,” Patricia was a woman whose life reflected love, resilience, and deep faith. She attended Richlex School and later graduated from Irmo High School in 1972.
Patricia dedicated over 40 years of service as a Certified Nursing Assistant at The Lowman Home, where she faithfully cared for others until her retirement in 2016. Her work was more than a profession—it was a calling rooted in compassion and service.
At an early age, Patricia gave her life to Christ, believing that a life without Him was a life without purpose. She was a devoted member of Greater Hopewell AME Church in Irmo, South Carolina, where she faithfully served as a missionary, trustee and class leader.
Patricia lived a life defined by love, kindness, and quiet strength. She was known among family and friends for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the way she brought comfort, joy, and laughter to all who were blessed to know her. She was an avid Clemson Tigers fan.
In addition to her beloved parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Geiger; her daughter, Monique Geiger; and her brother, John Reaves, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her beloved daughter, Pamela Geiger; her devoted granddaughter, Kashonda Geiger; and her devoted grandsons, Brandon Geiger and Kenyon Geiger. She was blessed with three great-grandchildren who loved her dearly, Kenlan Zion Geiger, Elizabeth Monique Geiger, Malakhai Kentrelle Geiger; and her honorary grandson, Khristian Glover, who held a special place in her heart.
She is lovingly remembered by her six sisters, Clayvon Williams, Brenda Castile, Beverly Armour, Veronica Armour, Marcella Armour, and Marsha (Dale) Reaves; and one brother, Meazo (Inger) Armour.
She also leaves behind her cherished and lifelong friends, Shirley Stoudemire, Gloria Eargle, Harvey and Loretta Gandy, Shirley Williams, Faye Geiger, and Colie Haltiwanger, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will continue to carry her love in their hearts.
A special acknowledgment is extended to her longtime friend and dedicated healthcare provider, Betty Pelletier, for her care, compassion, and unwavering support.
Though Tedie has departed this life, the memory she created and the love she gave will continue to shine brightly in the lives of her family and friends.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved and remembered.
