On Monday, June 22, 2020 at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC, God, in His infinite wisdom, called Tameka R. Price to rest from her journey here on earth. Tameka was born on August 22, 1977 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Danniel and Brenda Price.
Tameka was formally educated and attended Irmo High School before entering into Job Corp. She furthered her education and attended the University of Phoenix, majoring in Business Administration.
Tameka was faced with many health challenges but she faced them with grace, courage and resilience. Because she was a fighter, she endured the hospital stays, the surgeries and endless doctors’ appointments. Before she finished the race on this earth, she fought a good fight and she keep the faith.
Tameka loved and is loved by her family and friends. She and her daughter Christina would go on Mother-Daughter dates twice a month often ending up at the lake where they would sit and talk for hours. She loved her dogs, Baby and Eggroll. Besides spending time with family, Tameka had a passion for shopping, cooking and fishing.
Tameka had a bright and energetic personality. No matter what was going on or how busy things got, she always placed other before herself. She centered herself around family and friends, giving love and support that will never be forgotten.
Tameka was predeceased by her parents, Danniel and Brenda Price; grandmother, Rachel Jackson and grandfather, Robert Claggett.
