Syreeta Kiosha Shelton

Syreeta Kiosha Shelton was born on Friday, June 10, 1988, in Columbia, SC. She was the youngest child of John and Betty Shelton. After a brief illness, she departed this life on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

Syreeta attended Richland County Public Schools and was a proud Graduate of Eau Clare High School, Class of 2006.

She enjoyed spending time with her five beautiful children, Zakari (15), Zamarie (12), Samoni (10), Syion (6), and Aven (1), whom she shared with her husband of many years, Allen G. Bryson.

Syreeta was preceded in death by her protective and loving big sister, Zakiya Shelton-Fondo; and her beloved aunt, Regina Brown-Baskens.

She now leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Allen G. Bryson; their five children; her loving and devoted parents, John and Betty Shelton; big brother and best friend, Shomari Brown; beloved grandmother, Rosa Bell Brown; aunt, Margaret Means; uncle, Charles Brown, Jr.; her dear mother-in-law, Syteria Bryson (Miss Neesee), all of Columbia, SC; along with her aunt, Beverly Shelton and uncle, Carl Shelton, both of Boston, MA; and a host of other loving relatives and close friends who are far too numerous to mention here but, nonetheless, cherished her. She will be deeply missed.
