Stephon Alexander Scott was born September 15, 1967, the only son of the late Hebrew and Dorothy Scott Hart. He passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, in Columbia, SC.
Stephon was educated in the Public Schools of Richland County. Upon graduating from high school, He continued his education and attended the University of South Carolina, where he became known for his intellect. He was later employed by the Embassy Suite Hotel of Columbia SC. Stephon became the Head Bartender and lead personnel in hospitality at the Hotel. He was a dedicated employee for many years.
Stephon left a lasting impression on all whom he met. His family and friends described him as a kind and caring person who was always willing to do a favor. Stephon was known as a positive thinker, and he was generous in complimenting others for their good qualities. Stephon loved playing a game of pool, and he was good at it!
Stephon was preceded in death by both his father, known as Hebrew; and his mother, Dorothy Scott Hart; grandparents, Chris Scott and Lula Brown Scott; aunts and uncles, Edna Mae Scott Martin (Harold), Christine Scott Trapp (Henry Lee), Lula Mae Scott Blake and David Scott.
Stephon leaves to cherish his memories, his aunts, Henrietta Brown Wilson and Willie Ann Scott Smith; special family friends, Henry Williams, Timothy Trapp, and Tyrone Jones; along with a host of loving cousins, other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss Stephon dearly.
