Stanley Love

Stanley Love was born May 22, 1961, in Richland County, South Carolina, the beloved son of the late Nathaniel Love and Susie Mae Scott Love. He departed this life on Thursday, January 22, 2026, after 64 years of a loving and devoted life as a servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Stanley was educated in the public schools of Richland County and was a proud graduate of C. A. Johnson High School where he was #66 on the Hornet Football Team for four years and graduated in the Class of 1980.  He was employed with Richland School District One where he served as Building Supervisor and retired after 30 plus years of service.

Stanley enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and brought joy and laughter to so many with both his humor and contagious smile.

Stanley enjoyed attending church with his wife Andrena, where they both were members at Bethlehem Baptist Church College Place.

The legacy Stanley leaves is a legacy of love, kindness, peace, and hard work. Stanley was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. Though he is no longer physically with us, his kind spirit will forever live in the hearts of all those who loved and knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Leroy Love and Nathaniel Love.

Stanley leaves to cherish his memories his beloved wife Andrena Love;  two daughters,  Susan (Corey) Boyles, Dorothy Nicole Love, Sheldon (Lorien) Sweat, and Drena Ann Sweat; five grandchildren, Kentrell Love, Kiersten Love, S'ynaih Smith-Love, Naila Pearson, Nasir Hope, Destin Sweat, Michael (Jazlyn) Sweat, DeAnna Sweat, Alyssa Donald, Danika Sweat, and Sheldon Sweat Jr.; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom join the family in sharing the grief caused by his departure.
