Stacey Evette Perry was born January 28, 1973, in Columbia, South Carolina, the beloved daughter of Vivian McMillian and the late Alonzo Perry, Stacey entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 13, 2023, MUSC Medical Center, in downtown Columbia.
Stacey attended the public schools of Richland County School District One and was a graduate of C. A. Johnson High School. She continued her education and attended Virginia College where she majored in Medical Billing and Coding, graduating with and associate degree.
As a teenage Stacey was employed with the McDonald Corporation for many years; however, she will be remembered for her many years of employment at Amoco where she was the store manager.
Stacey was blessed to have met the love of her life, George Kinard with whom she was blessed to have spent more than twenty-four years.
She attended Bible Way Church of Atlas Road and often attend church with her mother at First Nazareth Baptist Church.
Stacey enjoyed watching lifetime movies, spending time with her children, gardening, cooking, shopping online for purses. Stacey was loving, kind, devoted and hardworking. She was a loving partner, mother, daughter, sister aunt and friend who will be missed by all those who loved and knew her.
In addition to her father, Ms. Perry was also preceded in death by her sister Brenda Perry; and her grandparents, John and Ellen Jackson.
Those who are cherishing precious memories are her loving children, Kendaesha Kinard, Kendarious Kinard and Kendarian Kinard; her life-partner, George Kinard; loving mother, Vivian McMillian; caring and devoted sisters, Sangetta Coaxum, Veronica (David) Goodwin and Teresa Perry; brothers, Deon (Kara) Jackson, Derrick Ware and Adrian (Sherrin) Jackson; uncles, Gregory L. (Sadie) Jackson, and Samuel Jackson; her devoted aunt, Felicia (Berkley) Outen; devoted friends, Tracy Brown, Shambreka, Nicole, Mrs. Tillman, Mrs. Thomasina, a host of nephews, nieces and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom join the family in sharing the grief caused by her departure.
