Sonja E. Dennis

Ms. Sonja Estelle Dennis, affectionately known as Judy by her family and friends, was born May 1, 1959 in Columbia, South Carolina. She was the beloved daughter of the late Ethel Dennis and Hampton Hudson, Sr. After a battle with heart disease, she was called to eternal rest, October 3, 2018 at Lexington Medical Center.

She attended the public schools of Richland County.

In addition to her parents, Sonja was preceded in death by her brothers, Clifton, Melvin and Hampton Jr.

Ms. Sonja Estelle Dennis leaves to cherish her precious memories, her loving sons Tyrice and Maurice Rowe, Christopher Richardson, and Preston Minor Jr. all of Columbia, SC; one loving daughter, Shawana Richardson; grandchildren; her dear brothers, Carli, Darryl; her close sister, Denise (Zan) Cornish; and a host of nephews, nieces, and other family and friends who loved her deeply.
