Shawn LeDinerio Wise Obituary

Mr. Shawn LeDinerio Wise, 51, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at Lexington Medical Center.

Shawn was born on May 5, 1974, in Columbia, South Carolina, to Larry Cornelius Wise and Sandra Kay Dunlap-Wise.

He was educated in the public schools of Richland County School District One and graduated from C A. Johnson High School in 1993.  Later in life, he went on to pursue a degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVACR) at Midlands Technical College, graduating in 2017. Throughout his life, his passion was helping people, which led a life-long career in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC).

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Kay Dunlap-Wise, and uncle.

Shawn was a shining soul whose love, laughter, and presence touched the lives of everyone blessed enough to know him. He lived life with passion and purpose, loved deeply, gave generously and carried himself with a strength that inspired those around him. To his family and friends, Shawn was more than just a loved one-he was a protector, a confident, and a source of endless joy.

He will be remembered for the way he lifted others up, for his humor that could case even the heaviest days, and for his unwavering loyalty to the people he loved. His journey, though far too short, was filled with meaning and moments that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Shawn leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his precious memory; his three children: Ms. Ja'Sean S. (Ishaquan) Wise and a granddaughter Kamryn Elexia Wise-Bailey, of Columbia, South Carolina, Ms. Kayliah L. (Remi) Wise, and Mr. Taeshon A, Wise of Lithonia, Georgia; their mother, Ms. Rene Bazel; three God-children: Mr. Sterling S. Scott, Ms. Jada K. Scott, Ms. Traci T. Scott all of Blythewood, South Carolina; siblings: Deacon Leon (Lenora) Stroman, Ms. Kali (Adrian) Glover, Mr. Bennie (Nina) Stroman, Ms. Lynn Stroman, and Mrs. Chiquota (Tracy) Scott, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other caring relatives and friends.

Though Shawn is no longer with us in body, his spirit will forever live on in our hearts. His love was a gift, and his memory will be a guiding light.
