Sharon Nadine Jackson was born July 9, 1962, the daughter of the late Leeretta J. Young and the late Richard E. Irons. She departed this earth on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Lexington Medical Center, in West Columbia, South Carolina.
Sharon grew up mostly in Columbia, where she was educated in the public schools of Richland County and graduated from Eau Claire High School, after which she continued her education at Midlands Technical College. She later worked as a crew member at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Football Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
At an early age Sharon she attended New Life Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and studying her bible and had a Relationship with the Lord. She was known for helping others and her caring spirit. She also had an artistic side and loved to draw. She will be missed by all those who loved and knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Beulah Jackson; as well as a host of uncles and aunts, all of whom she loved dearly.
Those who are cherishing fond and precious memories are her loving children, Tray (Tamica) Jackson of Lexington, SC, Whitney J. Richardson and Marchelle Prayliou, both of Cayce, SC, Marquese Wilson of Greenwood, SC, and Tiffany Jackson of Conway, SC; two grandchildren, Aria and Amir Richardson; aunts, Evelyn Braxton, Delores Gordon, and Nathalean Jackson; Harriet Zanders who she called sister; and Vernon Jackson who she called brother; a host of cousins, and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss her.
