Sharon Denise Meetze, affectionately known as “Tank,” was born January 18, 1971, in Columbia, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Christine Lucas and the late William Meetze and the stepdaughter of the late Calvin Lucas. She went to meet her heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
Sharon was educated in the public schools of Richland District One and was a graduate of C. A. Johnson High School, Class of 1989. She worked for KBS cleaning service. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She liked to listen to music, tell jokes, and have fun.
Sharon was preceded in death by her dad, William Meetze; and stepdad, Calvin Lucas; her mother-in-law, Carolyn Warner and brother-in-law, Albert Wright, Jr.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Reginald Warner; daughter, Omari Sims, both of Columbia, SC; sister, Michelle Meetze, Lisa Wright and Felicia Lucas, all of Columbia, SC; brothers, Mike (Harriett) Meetze and Ronnie Meetze, both of Columbia, SC; sisters-in-law, Takia Gallman and Adrienne Warner, both of Columbia, SC; brothers-in-law, Demetrius Gallman, Kevin Gallman and Javon Thompson, all of Columbia, SC; a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and other loving relatives and dear friends that will miss her dearly.
