Shanta Wolfe Corbin was born June 11, 1981, in Columbia, South Carolina to her loving parents, Stanley and Patricia Hatten Wolfe. She departed this life to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at PRISMA Health Richland Heart Hospital, in Columbia, South Carolina.
Shanta was a passionate daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was very friendly and outgoing and she accepted any and every one with open arms and a warm smile. To know her was to know she loved to sing, dance, and have a good time.
A lifelong resident of Columbia, SC, Shanta was educated in the Public Schools of Richland School District One where she was a graduate of Eau Claire High School. After graduation, she entered the United States Army where she faithfully served our country for several years.
Shanta was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Leola and Elijah Hatten Jr.; and paternal grandmother, Rosalina Law.
Shanta leaves behind family and friends who will forever cherish her fond and precious memories including her three loving daughters, Shanley Wolfe, Michaela Corbin, and Trinity Corbin; two beautiful stepchildren; her loving parents, Patricia and Stanley Wolfe; caring sister, Shainess (Anthony) Glymph; devoted niece, Shawnessy Wolfe; and her precious great nephew, Prince Jackson. She also leaves behind her God siblings, God children, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving relatives and an abundance of dear friends.
With Shanta no longer psychically with us, her outgoing, charismatic, and welcoming spirit will forever be with us. And we will forever cherish her memories.
