Shambreka Michelle Joy Grant

Shambreka Michelle Joy Grant was born on September 10, 1993, and was the beloved daughter of Shemeca Denise Grant. She departed this earthly life of Wednesday, May 10, 2023.

Shambreka was born in Columbia, SC where she was educated at South Kilbourne Elementary, Heyward Gibbes Middle School, Eau Claire High School, and was a graduate of Denmark Technical College.

Shambreka was a very loving person; she loved to joke around and spend time with her loved ones, especially her children. There was never a job she would not attempt to do, she embrassed it. Shambreka loved doing things like singing, dancing, doing makeup, modeling, and taking pictures.

Shambreka was preceded in death by her grandmother, Rena (Denise) Cheeseboro and her aunt, Ebonie (Janay) Stroman-Boyd whom she loved dearly.

Those who will forever cherish her precious memories are her children, Alicia (Denise Nicole) Gordon, Miracle (Aaliyah Dishay) Grant, Da’Vonte (Ja’Kei) Grant; her mother, Shemeca (Denise) Grant; great aunt, Gwendolyn Grant; grandfather, Lucus Grant; three brothers, Shaquan (Burnell) Boyce, James (McKinney) Boyce Jr, and Marion (Lavern) Sims Jr; two sisters, Daquandra (Dasha Presha) Boyce, and Myah (Natasha) Bell; god mother, Peggy Heatley; devoted friend, Terrell Harley; aunts, Tammier Grant, Angela Grant, and TaKelia Davis; first cousins, Daetron Grant, Kaliah Grant, Na’Tavis Taylor; and a host of other great aunts, great uncles, cousins, family and friends.
