Sarah Louise Vaught Willard was born March 6, 1945, the beloved daughter of the late Albert Vaught and Addie Bellamy Vaught Edge; and stepdaughter of the late, Danny Edge. She departed this earthly life to be with the Lord on Monday, April 27, 2026, in Columbia, South Carolina.
Sarah was educated in the public schools of Horry County in South Carolina and employed with Johnson Food Service at Fort Jackson Army Base, Fort Jackson, South Carolina, from which after many years of dedicated service she gracefully retired.
A motivator and loving woman, Sarah used her gift of motivating to help others realize their potentials, touching the lives and many people.
Though she is no longer physically with us, she has left a legacy of love and devotion to all those who loved and knew her.
Those who are cherishing fond and precious memories are her loving and devoted husband, Johnnie N. Willard of Columbia, SC; her loving daughter, Kimberly Willard of Columbia, SC; two stepdaughters, Carla Jordon and Sharon Wilson, both of Longs, SC; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her caring brother, Donald Vaught of Conway, SC; loving sister, Dorothy Spain of Conway, SC; brothers-in-law, Raymon Willard of Longs, SC, and Lawrence (Pearl) Pyatt of Myrtle Beach, SC; sisters-in-law, Von Ceil Lewis and Verlon Vaught, both of Longs, SC; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins; and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss her.
