Samantha R. Russele Obituary

Samantha Robin Russele was born on December 18, 1968, in Washington, DC the daughter of Doris Gaskins Russele and the late George Garnet Russele. She departed this life on March 3, 2026, in Chelsea, Massachusetts, Suffolk County.

Samantha was a dedicated scholar and lifelong learner. She earned Associate degrees in Broadcasting, Video, and Film Director, and pursued a Bachelor’s program through Harvard University, where she was also recognized as a student presenter and received an honorary distinction. She proudly served in ROTC at Fort Meade, MD, where she held the rank of Master Sergeant and was awarded the “Daughters of the Revolution Medal” in her graduating class. She was employed with Capgemini and later with Altman & Altman Law Firm.

Samantha had a gift for languages, speaking French and reading Italian, Spanish, and English.

A woman of strong faith and service, Samantha was baptized at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and was affiliated with St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Boston. She also supported St. Michael’s Charity in Massachusetts. As a devoted lay servant, she volunteered faithfully and fellowshipped with people of many nations.

Samantha had a deep love for reading, research, and teaching, sharing her knowledge and passion with others.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Garnet Russele; her grandparents, Addie Lee Russele, Evans Gaskins, and Dorothy Gaskins; and her aunt, Beatrice Russele. Her stepfather, John Fullwood transitioned from this earthly life on March 28, 2026.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her loving mother, Doris Gaskins Fullwood; her aunt, Joyce Russele; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will miss her dearly.
