Sargent Terence Lee Goode, Sr was born in Lexington County to the late Shirley Dervin Goode and the late Robert Lee Mickens.
He attended the public schools of Lexington County and was a 1975 graduate of Brookland Cayce High School. He was a lifelong member of Turner Memorial AME Church. He joined the U.S. Army and received an honorable discharge. He was employed and retired from the Bryan Dorn Veterans Hospital in Columbia, SC.
Terence loved singing and listening to old school music. He also had a passion for cars and motorcycles. Although he was a quiet man, he had an outgoing personality with an infectious laugh. He loved making friends and never met a stranger.
Terence was married to Victoria Goode from this union he had three children, Terrell Chandler (Terry) Goode, Bronz Vivicca (Max) Goode and Terence Lee Goode, Jr. He also had five grandchildren that he adored very much.
He was preceded in death by his brother Darrell Goode and his grandmother, Ms. Georgia Dervin Mitchell.
Terence leaves to cherish wonderful memories, a special friend, Patrice Manuel of Columbia, SC; two sisters, Ms. Vivicca Michelle (James) Watson of Hopkins, SC and Ms. Belinda (Mickey) Pringle of West Columbia, SC; brothers, Mr. Nicky Wilson of Columbia, SC, Levi and Cornelius Holmes of West Columbia; aunts Joyce Burkett, Cathy Mickens, Berneatha Mickens and Jackie Corley and a host of other relatives who will miss him dearly.
