Ruth Mae Furtick

Mrs. Ruth Mae Furtick, (81) passed away on October 5, 2020 in Lexington, SC. She was married to the late Pink Furtick.

Ruth was born in Lexington, SC and was the daughter of the late Alex Williams and Gertude Hall James. She attended Lakeview High School. She was a pressor at Beckneil Cleaners.

She was a member of New Life Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching football and soap operas. Ruth will be remembered for the love she had for her family and always having a smile on her face. Ruth was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Ruth is predeceased by her parents; five siblings, Alex Williams, Estelle Williams, Hattie Bell Williams, Lucillie Tillman and John W. Williams.  

Ruther leaves to cherish her memories and love; three children, Rodney J. Furtick, Diane Furtick and Sylvia Furtick; brother, Earnest Lee Williams; sisters, Berneatha Porterfield and Lula Mae Williams; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends whom will miss her dearly.
