Reginald Jerome Williams, affectionately known as (Reggie), was born April 11, 1973, in Lexington County, West Columbia, South Carolina, the first-born son of John F. Williams and the late Ojetta Crouder Williams. He departed this earthly life on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Lexington Medical Center.
Reggie attended and graduated from the public schools of Lexington School District Three. His employment ventures were varied over the years, with the Babcock Center being his final employer prior to his health decline. He had a love for singing and expressed it many years while singing a "strong Tenor" as he progressed through public education, countless church choirs, as well as the Touch of Faith Community Choir of the Batesburg-Leesville area.
Though he is no longer physically with us, he has left a legacy of love to all those who loved and knew him.
Those who cherish precious memories of "Reggie" are his loving father, John (Judy); sisters, Larjonar, LeTasha C. (Carlton) Gantt, Kia Cusak; brothers, John Ross, Joshua (Judy) Crouder, Darius (Angela) Johnson. Reggie was "Uncle Hungry" to his "musically inclined" nephew, James Orlando Amaker, II; aunts, Annie W. (Thomas) Curry, Elder Betty Barnes Hartley, Carolyn C. (Lawrence) Williams; uncles, Robert Williams, and Alonzo O. (Victoria) Crouder, Jr.; a godsister, Ebony Barr; his goddaughter, Shelby Coleman, as well as a host of loving and caring nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbors, all of whom will dearly miss him.
