Reginald L. Watson, Sr. Obituary

Reginald Lewis Watson, Sr. was born June 6, 1961, in Columbia, South Carolina, the beloved son of the late Robert Ferrell and Henrietta Martin Ferrell. Reginald transition from his earthly home on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in Columbia, South Carolina. 

Reginald affectionately known as “Reggie” by family and friends, was educated in the public schools of Richland County where he was a graduate of A. C. Flora High School Class of 1979. During his tenure at A. C. Flora, he was a member of the Falcon Football team. 

In his younger years Reggie played Pop Warner Football for the Greenview Eagles. He was also an avid bowler during his free time. A big sport enthusiast, Reggie  was a Miami Dolphins Fan, and everyone knew it! 

Reginald was a long-time employee of the Summit Club, and them with the Palmetto Club; and previously employed with Consolidated Steel and lastly with Wesley Janitorial Service. 

Though he is no longer physically with us, he has left a legacy of love to all those who loved and knew him. 

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Juan Ferrell; and sister, Stephanie Wilson. 

Those who are cherishing fond and precious memories of Reggie are his loving sons, Reginald (Rashonda) Watson, Jr., and Christopher Watson, both of Columbia, South Carolina; two adoring granddaughters, Zamaria and Zaniya Watson both of Columbia, South Carolina; his loving sister, Pamela Thomas, of Columbia, South Carolina; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom join the family in sharing the grief caused by his untimely departure.
