Raymond Belton

Raymond Belton, Sr., was born October 12, 1952, in Ridgeway, South Carolina, the beloved son of the late Singh and Janie Hudson Belton.  His time of entrance into eternal life was Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

Raymond graduated from Fairfield Central High School.  He worked as a forklift driver for 20 years at Coco-Cola Bottling Company, and 20 years for Pepsi-Cola Company. 

He joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Ridgeway, South Carolina at an early age.  He later united with and joined Good Aim Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee and member of the Jubilee Choir.  Though he is no longer physically with us, his loving and kind spirit will forever live in the hearts and lives of all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Belton was also preceded in death by his son, Raymond M. Belton; brother, Joe Hudson; and his sister, Eloise Green.

He leaves to cherish is fond and precious memories his loving and devoted wife of 46 years, Margie H. Belton; his son, Sirdell Belton; grandchildren, Markia Belton, Raymond Belton, Jr., and Ciante Gibson; brother, Thomas Hudson; sister, Trofena Pauling; a host of nephews, nieces, brothers and sisters-in-law, and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss him.
