Randy Dukes

Mr. Randy Dukes was born on September 23, 1970, in Columbia, South Carolina, the second child of Mr. Eddie Dukes and the late Magdalene Amaker Dukes. He peacefully departed his earthly life Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Seven Oaks Nursing Home in Columbia, South Carolina.

Randy was educated in the public schools of Richland County graduating  from  Keenan High School, Class of 1988. After graduating he continued to be a proud Keenan Raider. He was a Machine shop student at Lynnhaven Career Center and continued his studies at Midlands Technical College. His work history included Machine Tool Operator at Koyo Bearings, and main Cook at 76 Truck Stop. Randy was never married and did not have any children; however, he  was a proud Uncle to his Nieces and Nephews.

Randy was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ at an early age and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. He was taught the ways of the Lord and during his extended illness his faith was renewed, and he was at peace with God.

His hobbies included fishing, crossbow shooting, cooking on the grill, eating out with his family, and hanging out with his four brothers.

In addition to his mother, Randy was also preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Thomas; maternal grandfather, Wilbur Hook; maternal great aunt, Lucille (Lil Gal) Tyler; maternal aunt,  Mary Ann Scott; maternal uncle Buster Thomas; paternal grandmother, Hazel Dukes; paternal great grandmother, Mary (Cuda) Dukes; and paternal grandfather, Oree Foster.

He leaves to cherish precious memories, his loving father,  Eddie Dukes; four loving and devoted brothers, Eddie Ronald (Adrian)
Dukes, Bryant Lamont (Jennifer) Dukes, Steven Dukes all of Columbia, South Carolina, and Andrae Terrell (Ashley) Dukes of Anderson, South Carolina; his caring God sister, Janet Bell of Columbia, South Carolina; as well as a host of loving nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
