Randolph Doughty Obituary

Randolph Doughty, a beloved brother, father, grandfather, and friend, was born October 10, 1958, in the close-knit community of Davis Station, South Carolina in Clarendon County, the beloved son of Willie and Ruth Stukes Doughty, who bestowed upon him the values of kindness, perseverance, and love that he carried throughout his life. He departed this earthly life on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the age of sixty-seven (67).

Randolph was a proud graduate of Scotts Branch High School, Class of 1976, where he formed lifelong friendships and laid the foundation for his future endeavors. Shortly after, he answered the call to serve his country with honor and distinction to the United States Army. His service was marked by bravery and commitment, and he retired from the military, having touched the lives of many with his leadership and integrity.

Following his military career, Randolph's passion for innovation led him to the field of electronics, graduating with a Degree, where he excelled as an Electronic Technician. His curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit also guided him into the world of real estate investment, where he found great success and fulfillment.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Randolph was a man of deep family values. He cherished every moment spent with his children and his five adored grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

His pride in their achievements was evident, and his love for them was boundless.

An avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Randolph enjoyed sharing his enthusiasm for football, often gathering with loved ones to cheer on his favorite team. His warm smile and hearty laugh could light up any room, and he was known for his generous spirit and unwavering support to those around him.

In addition to his parents, Randolph's legacy is also marked by the deep bonds he shared with his siblings who also preceded him in death his brothers,  Willie Doughty and Fred Doughty; and his sister, Barbara Doughty McCray.

Randolph leaves to cherish his children, Dwight Doughty, Damian (Jasmine) Doughty and Nyeisha Hopkins; five grandchildren, Zarion Doughty, Aiyden Doughty, Damian Doughty, Skylar Doughty and Ivyanna Doughty; loving siblings, Charles (Jacqueland) Doughty, Dwayne Doughty, Toure"Sharon" Animashaun, and Rosalind Doughty; a dear friend, Julia Gipson; and a special bond with nieces, Michela Doughty and Whitney Doughty and a host of other nieces and nephews; and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss him.
