Priscilla Wright-McGraw, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully transitioned from this life on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Born on July 15, 1968, in Columbia, South Carolina, Priscilla was a radiant light whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and love to all who knew her.
Priscilla was a proud graduate of W. J. Keenan High School, where she showcased her athleticism and passion as a member of the basketball team. She carried that same energy and determination into every aspect of her life. She was also a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star, reflecting her commitment to service, sisterhood, and community.
Known for her beautiful spirit, Priscilla was truly the light in every room she entered. Her laughter was contagious, her heart was generous, and her love was unwavering. She was a devoted mother who poured endlessly into her children, and a loving wife whose bond with her husband was rooted in deep friendship, companionship, and unwavering love, they were truly best friends. Her presence was a gift to everyone she encountered.
Though her physical presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, strength, and joy will live on through all who were blessed to know her.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents, Rebecca Owens, Matthew Wright, and Eugene Owens, who instilled in her the strength, compassion, and grace that she carried throughout her life.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her husband, Marty McGraw; her loving children, Bianca (Robert) Valentin Sr. and Jamario McGraw; and her treasured grandchildren, Robert Valentin Jr., MaKayla Valentin, Londyn McGraw, and Leila Blackmon, who were the absolute joy of her life.
She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Vivian (Cleophus) Jeffery, Denise (Rodney) Garrett, Tomeca Hunter, Shon Hunter, Matthew (Ebony) Clark, Rozitta McGraw, and Seth McGraw; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
