Paul Norman Lewie was born October 10, 1966, in Batesburg, South Carolina, the son of the late Reverend Bobby Ellis Lewie and Bertha C. Bouknight. He departed this life to join his Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 15, 2026, at PRISMA Health Richland Hospital, in Columbia, SC.
Paul was educated in the public schools of South Carolina and attended Richland Northeast High School. He was a devoted and dedicated employee at the Department of Mental Health for many years as Food Service Specialist.
Mr. Lewie was a devoted member of Greater St. Luke Baptist Church.
Paul was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and nephew. He was also a sincere and loyal friend to his extended family and friends, touching many hearts in a very special way. Though he is no longer physically with us, his loving and kind spirit will forever remain in the hearts and lives of all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James T. Lewie and Bobby Fitzgerald Lewie; and three sisters, Gerri Bouknight, Temekia Y. Lewie, and Diana Jacobs.
Cherishing his precious memories are his loving wife, Pricilla Renee Lewie of the home; one son, Paul C. N. Lewie Jr. of Columbia, SC; and two daughters, Shaneqwa A. Lewie and Ebony T. Lewie, both of Columbia, SC; granddaughter reared in the home, Christeona Lewie; he also leaves to cherish his memory of his loving Stepmother, Carrie Lewie; three brothers, Spencer M. Lewie, Eric Lewie, and Timothy Williams, all of Columbia, SC; and two sisters, Debbie Williams of Columbia, SC , and Bobbie Willingham of Winnsboro, SC; he is further survived by four aunts, Josephine Cannon; Louise (Reverend Larry) West; and Eva (Jimmy) McKiever, all of Batesburg-Leesville, SC; and Mary Hall of Fort Lauderdale, FL; nine grandchildren; one Godson, Cory Bell; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives, and many sorrowing friends, all of whom will dearly miss him.
