Patricia M. Days was born January 7, 1954, in Richland County South Carolina, the beloved daughter of the late Jimmie Mickle Jefferson. She departed this life on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Lexington Medical Center, in West Columbia, South Carolina.
“Tric” as she was affectionately called by family and friends, was educated in the public schools of Richland County where she graduated from Dentsville High School. She went on to work in the banking industry with Bank of America from which she retired after more than 40 years of exceptional service. After retirement she worked with Palmetto Trust Credit Union for several years.
She was a faithful and dedicated member of New Ebenezer Baptist Church where she served as Treasurer for many years.
Patrica’s hobbies included traveling, fishing and spending time with those she loved most her family. Though she is no longer physically with us, she has left a legacy of love to all those who loved and knew her.
In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Albert Jefferson, Jr.; and sister, Ethel Jefferson.
Those who will forever cherish fond and precious memories of Patricia are her loving son, Samuel Perry Days; grandchildren, Samaiya Egypt Days, Summer Happy Days, and Sandra Williams, all of Columbia, SC; her loving sisters, Mary DeLoatch of New York; Sylvia Mickle and Adriane Mickle, both of Columbia, SC; a host of nephews, nieces and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss her.
