Patricia “Hershey” Williams was born September 7, 1980, in Columbia South Carolina, the daughter of the late Annie B. Williams and the late Bobby R. Haltiwanger. She departed this earthly life on Friday, November 10, 2023, at her residence in Columbia, South Carolina.
Patricia, who was affectionately called “Hershey” by family and friends, was educated in the public school system of Richland County. She represented her high school very well, the C. A. Johnson High School Hornets. She worked several jobs, but Home Health Care was her passion where her patients became instant members of her family. At the time of her departure, Patricia was employed with Learning to Konnect, LLC.
She was a member of Greater New Williams Street Baptist Church where she would serve occasionally on the food committee. Due to her sacred oath, she was an inactive member of Naomi Chapter #065, Order of the Eastern Star.
Patricia never met a stranger and was loved by so many. Her favorite past-time was sharing laughs with one of her best friends, Mary Jane and dropping fresh chicken in hot grease.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her sisters, Tonya E. Williams, and Cassandra Smith; her maternal grandmother, Essie Faust; maternal grandfather, Otis Faust; her paternal grandmother, Ethel Haltiwanger; and paternal grandfather, Alex Haltiwanger.
Precious memories and a legacy of love are left to be cherished by her daughter, Ra'juana Hope; and son, Deshune Williams, both of Columbia, SC; her precious God-daughter, Diamond Robinson, of Cayce, SC; sister, Pastor Alice (Joseph) Williams-Ellison of Blythewood, SC; two niecey pooh's, Krystal (Corey) Johnson-Rhodes and Ty'esha Williams, both of Columbia; five nephews, Lyndon (Ieshia) Williams, Qua'von Medlock, Zacchaues Cannon, Carlos Smith and Cedric Myers, all of Columbia SC; three great nephews, Josiah Williams, Logan Williams, and her "Chunky" Elijah Williams, all of Columbia SC; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other loving relatives, and caring friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
