Patricia Reid

Patricia Ann Reid was born October 29, 1949 , the beloved daughter and eldest of eight born to the late George Reid, Sr. and Imogene Beech Reid.   She gained her heavenly wings on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. 

Patricia attended the public schools of McCormick County and was a 1967 graduate of Mims High School. She was employed in the Textile Industry and at the McCormick County Children's Home until her retirement.

Patricia joined Pine Grove AME Church at an early age and remained faithful until her health declined.  Though she is no longer physically with us, she has left a legacy of love to all those who loved and knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Eddie Reid, George H. Reid, Jr. and Gara Ann Reid Lomax.

Patricia leaves to cherish her precious memories one loving daughter, Ms. Tabitha Reid; and her twin grandsons, Taylor and Tyler Letman, all of the home; loving sisters,  Willie Mae Sibert, Melody Freeman, Sharon Payton;  and one brother, Franklin (Ernestine) Reid, three aunts, Barbara B. Barker, Mildred Ann Payton and Ophelia (Reggie) Leverette; sisters -in-law,  Judy Reid and Jeanette Reid;  and a host of other loving  relatives and dear friends who will miss her laugh and beautiful smile.
