Marvin L. Wilson

Marvin L. Wilson was born on November 14, 1964, in Columbia, South Carolina, the beloved son of the late James Brown and Carrie Lee Wilson.  Marvin departed this life for his final resting place on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at MUSC Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina.

Marvin was educated in the public schools of Richland School District #1. He was employed by Carolina Concrete and Asphalt Recycling Inc. at the youthful age of 16 years old. Marvin grew up and was raised in the Wheeler Hill Community. He was a fun person, and he enjoyed playing and listening to music. Marvin loved to tell jokes and entertained those he came in contact
with. He was quite a character.

In addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by his sister, Gayle Wilson and brother, Michael Wilson.  

Marvin leaves to cherish fond memories with his loving sisters, Carletta Gunter, and Patricia “Ann” Bellamy; significant partner, Betsy Davis; and a host of other loving relatives and friends, all of whom will dearly miss him.
