Marvin Wesley Jacobs

Mr. Marvin Wesley Jacobs was born on September 25, 1969 in Columbia, South Carolina.  He was the son of the late Shirley Jacobs Hudson.  He entered eternal rest to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 12, 2020.

Affectionately known by his family as “Man Tang”. Marvin received his formal education in the public schools of Richland County. Marvin worked as a skilled laborer on various jobs.  His favorite pass time was dancing and listening to music

Marvin was preceded in death by his mother, his sister, Mrs. Cynthia Mitchell. 

He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories: his father, Mr. James Hudson; a special friend of the home, Ms. Zena Stephenson; two sons, Mr. Mykell Jacobs of Columbia, SC and Mr. Mario McCay of Fayetteville, North Carolina; one daughter; Ms. Iesha Jacobs of Columbia, SC; two grandchildren, Eriyana Moore and Ky’Nick Johnson of Columbia, SC; one brother, Mr. Jamie Hudson of Columbia, SC; three Aunts;  Mrs. Pauline (Cecil) Adderley of Boynton Beach, Florida, Mrs. Beulah (James) Smith and Mrs. Gloria (Willie) Bryant of Columbia, SC; three uncles, Curtis Jacobs, Otis Jacobs and Johnny Jacobs of Columbia, SC; step children; Shamaka, Desiree, Zenisha sons Daqura and Shameke Stephenson all of Columbia, SC seven nieces, one n ephews and a host of relatives and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.
