Our precious little angel, Markilo Bryson Anderson, is the beloved son of Markilo and Lanora Anderson of Gaston South Carolina. Markilo and Lanora was blessed with a small piece of heaven to cherish when their bouncing baby boy was born at Lexington Medical Center on March 17, 2011.
Markilo was affectionately known by Bryson to his family and friends, to whom he brought joy, love, and happiness each day with his efficacious laugh and smile. Bryson attended Bethel Learning Center where he learned and thrived spiritually, intellectually, academically. Bryson attend Springdale Elementary in Lexington SC from kindergarten through fourth grade. Bryson loved learning, where he excelled in reading and science. His favorite book series was 39 Clues by Rick Riordan. His good grades earned him a membership into the Beta Club with a 2020 induction. Bryson was an active and inquisitive child who always wanted to know how things worked by taking them apart to explore the pieces. He inspired to become an engineer when he grew up. His favorite color was blue like his fathers. His spent many afternoons building Lego structures, playing cards and board games during family game night. He also loved playing Roblox online, riding his bike and Go Kart.
Bryson placed his hands in the Lord’s and was called home on October 20, 2020. He is preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother Lenora Brown (Bluffton SC); paternal grandfather Roosevelt Tate (of Pace MS), maternal grandparents Peter and Mariah Ferguson (Beaufort SC); and his Uncle Shawn Brown (Beaufort SC).
In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by his protective big sister Markayla Anderson; paternal grandmother, Rose Tate (of Pace MS); maternal grandparents, Kathleen Brown and Anthony Ferguson (of Beaufort SC); Great Grandfather Neptune Nelson (Beaufort SC); Aunts Pamela Tate (Pace MS), Ebony Brown (Beaufort SC), Vivian (Abraham) Brown (Bluffton SC); and numerous loving Great-Aunts, Great-Uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
