Mark John Young

Mark John Young came into this word on August 9, 1960.  He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Louise Lacy and the late John Young.  Although Joseph Lacy was not his biological father, he loved Mark and raised him like he was his own son.  They shared a bond and Mark affectionately called him dad.

Upon graduating high school, Mark immediately joined the United States Marine Corps.  While serving in the Marines, Mark received a medal of good conduct.  After being honorably discharged, Mark settled down in Florida.  After being in Florida for a number of years, he returned to South Carolina where he spent the remainder of his life.

Mark leaves to cherish his precious memories, a son, Marcus A. Davis; his mother and father Louise and Joseph Lacy; two sisters, Joanne Lacy and Eather Lacy; six brothers, Joseph Lacy Jr., Andrew Lacy, Walter Lacy, Harvey Lacy, Ronald Lacy and Brian Lacy along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.   Preceding Mark in death were his two brothers, Robert Lacy and Chris A. Young. 

Mark is and always will be missed, but will always live in our heart.
