Marion Knapper

Mr. Marion Knapper was born on May 11, 1942 to the late Amy Edmunds. He departed his life on May 20, 2020. Marion, affectionately known as “Pop” was a loving husband, father, and brother.

Marion left Columbia, SC at an early age and moved to New York for many years. He later returned to Columbia. He loved spending time with his family and loved joking around.

Marion was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Darrel Knapper.

Marion leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Margaret Knapper Andrews; his sons, Harold Knapper, Tyron Knapper and Andrew Knapper all of Florida; three sisters, Annie R. McBeth Green, Amy Edmunds, and Carolyn Edmunds, all of Columbia, SC; three brothers, John Edmunds, William Edmunds, and Ronald Edmunds all of Columbia; two aunts, Mrs. Betty Mack and Mrs. Helen Reed; one uncle, Mr. Heyward Mack, all of Columbia, SC; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives, and friends.
