Marie L. Wallace

Marie L. Wallace was born in Columbia, SC on April 6, 1956 to the late Henry and Pearl Ladson. She departed this life on October 1, 2021.

She graduated from Columbia High School in 1974. She worked for and retired from Marathon in 2018.

She met and married Sammie Wallace. To this union they were blessed with three children, Chris, LaShaunda and Sam.

Marie Wallace was very outspoken; however, she was the sweetest woman anyone could ever meet.

She was predeceased in death by her brothers, Charles Ladson & Freddie Harris and her sister, Mary Gravin.

Those who will cherish her memories are her loving and devoted children, Chris Wallace, LaShaunda Wallace and Sam Wallace all of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Christyn Wallace, Dashawn Bates and Joshua Bates, Kytwan Myers all of Columbia, SC ; sister, Barbara L. Harris of Columbia, SC; brothers, Johnny Harris of Washington, DC , Theodore McGill, Henry Ladson both of Columbia, SC  and Larry Ladson, Cheraw, SC; special friend, James Davis of Columbia and  a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends all whom will miss her dearly.
