On Wednesday Sept 9, 2020, Margaret Glenn loving wife and mother passed away at age 71. Margaret was born in Columbia SC, on June 29, 1949 to the late Louise and Walter Bynum. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High-school. At the age of 25, she met and married the love of her life William Glenn Sr., and they were blessed with three children. Margret received her certification in child care development, and later ran a military daycare for five years prior to starting her own. Her last employment was Columbia Farms, where she worked into her health declined.
Margaret had a passion for fishing, cooking, playing cards, traveling, and looking fabulous at all times. She was a woman who opened her heart and home not only to her immediate family, but to other relatives and friends. Everyone felt her love and called her Ma as well. Everyone she knew she left an impression that only she could leave doing it the Margaret Glenn way. Whether it was one of her talks that ended in a joke that only she could tell, or making sure you ate a meal fit for a king she was sure to please. She only wanted in return the love and support from those whom she loved so dearly. Margaret was known for her quick wit, willingness to provide and a compassionate spirit, she will be missed by many.

She Leaves behind her children Rena Roberts, Jeanne Sanders, Tina (Clifton) Childs, William Glenn Jr., and Emanuel Glenn; four sisters, Delouise (Anthony) Anderson, Mary Bynum, Jaqualine Bynum, and Levola Bynum; brother Calvin Bynum; brother-in-law Cepheus Alston; 11 Grand Children, Nelson Thomas Jr., Gregory Roberts Jr., Tierra Thomas, Clifton Child’s Jr., Carlito Childs, Ca’ron Childs, Mink Anderson, Emani Glenn, Elani Glenn, Emanuel Glenn, Emerson Glenn; five great-grandchildren, and a multitude of nieces and nephews and special friends who will miss her dearly.
