Marcus W. Sibert

Marcus Westley Sibert, was born February 20, 1971, in Lincolnton, GA, the beloved son of Ben Otis Sibert and the late Mamie Lee Sibert. He peacefully departed this life on Friday, December 12, 2025, surrounded by loved ones in Greenwood, South Carolina.

Marcus attended McCormick County Schools and was a graduate of Greenwood High School.

Marcus was loved deeply by his family and will be remembered for his strong will, resilience, and creative spirit. He had a deep passion for music and enjoyed spending time on the golf course with his friends. He brought warmth, comfort, and laughter to those closest to him and his memory will be cherished always.

Those who are cherishing fond and precious memories are his two loving daughters, Tayia Sibert and Kelese Sibert; his devoted father, Ben Otis Sibert of McCormick, SC; caring brother, Gregory Sibert of Greenwood, SC; loving sisters, Wendy Sibert, Tammy Sibert, Marilyn Hill and Mary Allison Sibert of Greenville, SC, half siblings, Bridget Haley and Kevin  Haley; loving aunts, Emma Mae Gilchrist and Barbara Sibert of McCormick, SC; caring uncle, Albert Talbert of Edgefield, SC; his cherished cousin and friend Shonna Sibert; and his many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends, all of who will dearly miss  him.
