Linda Ray Gallishaw

Mrs. Linda Ray Gallishaw was born April 30, 1958 in Columbia, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Louise Jacobs and the Late Daniel Jacobs, Sr. Linda was the third child of 6 children and departed this earthly life and earned her wings to be with the Lord on Friday, June 4, 2021.

Linda was educated in Richland County Public School and was a graduate of Spring Valley, Class of 1976.

In 1978 she met the love of her life, the Late Earl Gallishaw, who preceding her in death. On March 31, 1983 the lovely couple got married.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her daughter and grandchildren after retiring from BCBS. She enjoyed fishing and playing bingo in her spare time. She was a member of Dentsville Baptist Church. Linda was a breast cancer survivor for the past 5 years. Before her previous life was ended so peacefully, Linda definitely won the fight with victory. Linda had the heart of gold that everyone enjoyed her spontaneous personality and loving strong-will attitude. She will be missed dearly and loved forever.

Also preceding her in death is her precious granddaughter, Christiana Gallishaw.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her only child, Cierra (Anthony) Craig; two grandchildren, Christalin Anderson and Raylan Craig of Taylors, South Carolina; mother Louise Jacobs of Columbia, South Carolina; her siblings, Pearline Wilson, Dorothy (Roy) Wilson, Daniel Jacobs, Jr. and Sammy Jacobs all of Columbia, South Carolina and Patricia Bradshaw of Atlanta, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, along with a host of loving cousins and other relatives and dear friends, all whom join the family in sharing the grief caused by her departure.
