Linda J. Robinson

Mrs. Linda Robinson was born on February 20, 1956 in Kannapolis, NC, born to the late Ophelia Collins and Ike Barnes.  She loved cooking, looking at the Pirce Is Right and Family Feud. She also loved caring for anyone needing a helping hand.  She departed this early life on November 1, 2025.

She was educated at GW Carver High School in Kannapolis, NC.  She was also employed at Cannon Mills for several years.  She was married to Eddie Robinson in holy matrimony where they resided in Columbia, SC.

In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Robinson; son, Maurice Collins; brother, Ike Barnes; and sisters, Carol Jean Collins, and Betty Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her brothers, James Barnes, Robert Barnes of Kannapolis, NC; her grandchildren, Marsha Springs of Charlotte, NC, Maurice Powell of New Bern, NC, Richard Forbis of Charlotte, NC, Rodney Forbis of Charlotte, NC, Marcus Springs of Charlotte, NC, and Damarion Collins of Columbia, SC and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
