Lillie Ann Johnson, affectionately known as “Mutt” was born November 8, 1942, in Gadsden, South Carolina, the daughter of the late James Robinson and Harrie Atkins. She entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Pruitt Health of Columbia.
Lillie was educated in the public schools of Lower Richland County where she attended Hopkins High School. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Cornelius Johnson. Mutt was employed as a female welder from which she retired after many years of dedicated service.
Lillie was first baptized at Park Street Church of Christ, and again at Sunset Boulevard Church of Christ after rededicating her life to Christ.
Known by many as a true “firecracker,” Lillie lived with spirit, strength, and a personality that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her honest and unwavering love for her family will forever be remembered, by all those whose lives she so lovingly touched.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a sister, brother, and a grandson.
She leaves to cherish her fond and precious memories to her children, Dorothy Robinson, Ernest (Diana) Robinson and Carolyn (Maurice) Mayfeld; loving grandmother to, Tynisha Robinson, Ezekiel Hodges and Jaquita Clark; great-grandmother to Tyshaun Belton, Aaliyah Belton and Ananna Belton; loving sister to, Hattie Martin, Sylvia Green, Dora Robinson, Betty Robinson and Geneva Murray; along with a host of nephews, nieces and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss her, but rejoice that she is now resting with the Lord.
