Lester Allen Gibson Jr., affectionately known as Allen, was born on October 4, 1982, the son of Lester Allen Gibson Sr. and Barbara Lark Gibson. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
Allen was a resident of Irmo, South Carolina, where he built a life centered around family, music, and community.
Allen was known for his vibrant spirit and his ability to bring people together. He had a special gift for creating timeless music, leaving behind melodies and memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Music wasn’t just something he did—it was a part of who he was.
At the time of his departure, Allen was a current student at Johnson & Wales University and was on track to graduate on April 30, 2026, where he was to receive his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Advertisement. This achievement reflected his determination, growth, and commitment to building a bright future.
Allen was also a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan, standing by his team with passion and loyalty through every season.
Above all, Allen was a family man. He cherished his loved ones deeply and took pride in creating meaningful moments filled with love, laughter, and connection. Allen’s legacy will live on through the lives he touched, the music he created, and the love he gave so freely.
Allen was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara L. Gibson.
